Im a nanny from SF, and would like to meet other caregivers from CA. to share rates. experiences and other helpfull tips.

Have you checked out the Babysitting Rate Calculator? Just be aware they propose a little bit higher rate than most babysitters charge, and that nannies with full-time weeks (30+ hours) typically offer discounted hourly rates (if they charge hourly).

I already checked the rate calcultor, and I could not make it with all my expences charging what the calculator sugested, the rates here are much higher than that, living cost in San Fco is really high and most of the people that look for nannies and babysitters live in million $$ houses so they offer much more to raise there children cause thats what you do here, parents are hardly ever home so your in charge of everything the child needs, in some cases that I personally got to see the child grew beliving that there nanny was there mother Sad [:(]

I did check the calculator out, but the rates here in SF start at $15/hr for one child and up. and weekends rates are much higher in some cases
