I like callforsitters. I'd like contribute my findings, http://www.benefito.com/. This site not only provides babysitters, but also housesitters, petsitters, eldercare.... It's very nice, I thought they'd charge some membership fees, but I've been with them for a few months now, no fees. It's pretty awesome for the service I got for free. I signed up some other sitter websites too, but some of them charge the families monthly fees so we get less interested families.

Just thought I'd mention another great babysitting/nannying website - it's based in the United Kingdom, where I come from, I've had quite a few great families call me through it.

www.findababysitter.com

Someone thought sites who charge parents are not so great, but the thing is, if parents have to pay to use the site it means the website has a record of those parents so it's much safer for sitters! also parents who pay to use the site are far more serious and you are less likely to get spam.

i've registered with sites who don't charge and have had some very weird emails! i would much rather a family pays to find me, even if it is just a little :)
