Aleesha, the two year old i sit for, loved this! it's a fun way of learning and it's a chance for them to get a bit messy! All you need is red, blue and yellow paint. The idea is that they learn which colours make which and it's really easy, I'll run through an example.
First, paint right hand blue
Then make a blue hand print
Next, paint left hand red
Make a red hand print
Here comes the fun part, ask the kid to rub their hands together and see what happens!
Then make another hand print with the result...im sure you've guessed it will be purple! Wait for them to dry and then draw a + sign between the blue and the red prints then an = sign between the red and the purple. Then do the same for orange and green! It's really fun for the child and for you too when you see the look of the amazement on their faces hehe! Plus, you can keep the result as a handy chart for learning colours!
Hope you like this, tell me what you think?
