I think a good snack idea is to make Rice Krispie Treats. When you come to babysit the child bring the stuff that you will need and have the child help you like with mixing something.

I like adding chocolate chips to it. Yum! I know that butterscotch and peanut butter chips exist, too -- those might be a good alternative since some people don't like chocolate. (Crazy, huh?)
