09-09-2007, 3:54 PM babysitter4hire Joined on 08-08-2007 Ohio Be nice - I'm new! 4 kids under the age of 5! help! Ok these kids are all under 5 and there are 4 of them.well my mom's frinn from work lives next to them.But she said they are mean. they pull up her garden! Well i need the money but im not sure. Any ideas advice anything please help me thnks! i luv babysitting! Im trying to raise $500 for a padgent this really helps!    Report

I  wouldn't suggest babysitting more than 2 children at one time.  4 children is a lot to handle especially these ages.    Report

I don't recommend taking on 4 children under the age of 5 unless you're a very experienced, confident babysitter.  Especially if there's an infant in the mix, and especially if you already know the children can be difficult to handle, it could be unsafe. In official childcare settings (e.g. daycares), in some states, it's not even legal for one adult to be alone with 4 infants/toddlers. I'd recommend only accepting this babysitting job if you have another person there to help you.    Report
