don't freak out. it will be fine. and this movie was totally
stupid it you think about it. all the whole movie she didn't
check the kids after she thought there was some one in the
house!! just one example.
and of course it IS NOT SOMETHING THAT WOULD HAPPEN! don't sweat it

Lol I got a little freaked out after watching that movie, too. But I completely agree with Chosen, if it freaks you out, then definitely don't take any overnight or late-night jobs that make you uncomfortable.

OMG! that movie FREAKED ME OUT too!! I am very scared to do an overnight job... but once i told myself (over and over and over and OVER again) that it was just a movie... it got a little better, but hey, i don't get overnight jobs that often either, but just focus on the kids and lay back. its all good.

Although you guys made some good comments, dont neccesarily "not take night jobs". But, before you do, consider the following:
1~ see how late it is, before you accept the job
2~always bring a book or game to keep you occupied
3~FIGURE OUT HOW TO WORK THE TV!!! {cant tell you how many times, I would be fiddleing wiht the darn remote for an hour till the parents get home!}
4~ Find out when the kids go to bed.... AND if they usually wake up at all. That way, IF THEY DON'T, you can try and fall asleep on the couch. Parents don't mind, as long as the kids aren't awake while you're not!!!
This is what I think.... AND DON'T LISTEN TO THE MOVIES!!! This is why I don't watch those movies!

yea!! haha listen to kimkim! she is sooo right! definetely dont just turn those types of jobs down! they pay the most, so DO NOT listen to the movies! I know i was wrong to!

First off, remember: It's just a movie.......even though something like that could really happen it probably (most likely) WON'T.
Just don'tworry bout it. If something like that ever happens (which it probably won't happen to you) then you will have to know what to do in an emergency like that. But don't spend your life worring about that. God will watch over you and if something happens that is what he planned. He only does what is best for us. I hope this helped.

I used to be that way with new babysitting jobs. What you should do is work with people who live in neighborhoods with lots of people around. Then, you have no reason to really be afraid at night.
