Re: here is a good site i found im not sure where these people live but look at this i find this crazy in a few ways.  i know you can't charge people with less $ the same amount but come on are you kidnn' me? Lower Class- $1-2/hour Lower Middle Class- $2-3/hour Middle Class- $3-4/hour Upper Middle Class- $4-5/hour Upper Class- $5-6/hour it does have some good things though.    Report

But as with all things, we listen to the advice of others, but pass it through our own judgment and experiences. Re: here is a good site i found you put into words what i couldn't.  thanks.  that was what i thought.  and you can charge less for people that are having problems financially but it looks like they are charging more for the higher income families.  (well the # are still low but still) you can give people breaks but it's not ethical to charge people more $ just because they have more money than some of your other clients.    Report

If you click "Take the Babysitting Quiz" it will take you to a page with 10 questions. Question #9 is (True or False) "A baby sitter can play tricks on the kids (Early bedtime, etc.), just as long as they are harmless." According to that website, the answer is true! I think playing tricks on the children is cruel, irresponsible, and a good way NOT to get asked to babysit again. It's not going to help the kids trust you or like you, either!    Report
