Ok...so?

Hello. I'm 11 years old and today is my 2nd babysitting job. I'll be watching three kids, ages 1, 3, and 5 from 4:00 to 9:00. What do you think...

I should bring with me?

I should charge?

I should do with them? Last time, I just had the 3 and 5 year old boys and they only wanted to play outside. It's freezing and it gets dark at like 4:00 here, so we can't go outside.

I'm a little bit stumped!

That sounds a lot like the babysitting job I had yesterday! I babysat kids 1, 3, and 5 years old too, but there was also an 8 year old.

I'll leave the price question to someone else who has more experience with nomal rates, but here are my ideas for things to do:

Playdough is a fun thing to do, because even the one year old can play with it (it's non toxic, but it tastes salty), and it doesn't cost much because you can make it yourself.

Playdough
Ingredients:

1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 cup water
1 tablespoon cream of tartar (Or 3 teaspoons lemon juice)
1 tablespoon vegetable or canola oil (or any light-colored oil)
approximately 20 drops of food coloring

First, mix all the dry ingredients together, then mix all the liquid ingredients in a separate bowl.

Then combine all the ingredients in a saucepan, and stir on medium heat. It may look way too wet, but continue stirring until the dough begins to lose its stickiness and starts to lump together.

Remove from the heat, and turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead until smooth. The dough will be hot.

When it's cool, it's ready to use. When you are finished, store the playdough in an airtight container, like a ziploc bag.

You might also try some board games (age appropriate of course) or something like "I spy". Also try story games, where each person has to make up one sentence. Another thing you could do is take some small items (all the same, for instance, I have about 10 yellow smiley finger puppets) and hide them all over the house. (Try to leave them a little bit visible). Then let all the kids look for them.

okay i see what u mean..

kids loovvee playdough

so here is an idea make playdough with them

all u need is :

2 and half cups flour

1 cup water and mix well and instant playdough
