11-21-2007, 9:28 AM babysitterlaura Joined on 08-12-2007 USA Getting to Know Us Re: How to say no It is not rude to say no to a job.  You have the right to refuse any babysitting job you want to.  Now, if she has a commitment to these families and has already prearranged to babysitt them every weekend, then it would be rude to back out on them.  But if they just call on a Wednesday night, and ask for Friday (for example) then she has every right to refuse that job.    Report
