12-10-2007, 9:21 PM booboo5 Joined on 12-11-2007 Be nice - I'm new! running out of ideas........................ so i babysit a little boy thats 3 every other Friday at my house and he stays the night BUT im running out of things to do with him because i babysit him alot and its hard to do at my house because i dont have toys for little boys please help but also he can be a very bad listiner PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Report

Hi!  I would suggest asking the parents to bring one or two of his favorite toys or games so you can play them with him.  Otherwise I would suggest investing in some toys for that age group that can be used for him as well as other children you may babysitt.  When I babysitt I often bring childrens books, games, and toys with me.  Go through your basment and see if you have any old childrens toys (make sure they meet saftey standards) or go to a garage sale or flee market and get some inexpensive toys.  Things like coloring books, playdough, books, and games are good for most young children and can be used over and over (except for coloring books obviously).  Hope this helps, and have fun!    Report

Re: running out of ideas........................ well i babysit  2 boys (3 and 6 years old) and i google coloring pages of cars dogs cats what ever they are intrested in and they watch and i would try to keep a schedule free time, color time movie time and nap time, snack time and so on or they just get very hyper if u know what i mean so yeah i have had lots of experience so yeah thanks    Report
